As of July 2012, we are pleased to announce that all our Australian manufactured KLEENEX® tissue and paper towel products are now FSC® certified. The Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) is internationally recognised as the world's most rigorous environmental and social standard for responsible forest management.

• Endorsed by WWF® and Greenpeace® as the gold standard of forestry certification
• Ensures fibre is sourced from responsibly managed forests and does not threaten endangered wildlife habitats.
• Respects the rights of workers and indigenous communities.

• Runs ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
• Is a partner of WWF - Australia's Love Your Forests campaign and participant in WWF's Global Forest & Trade Network (GFTN).
• Is a member of the 'Common Platform' for the elimination of illegal timber products in Australia.
• Is investing $30 million in a combined heat and power generation project at our Millicent Mill that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 90,000 tonnes per year by 2013 once complete. Equivalent to removing 32,000 small cars from the road.

While corporate responsibility has always been integral to Kimberly-Clark's business since starting in Australia in 1930, as a global corporation in 2011 it announced its most comprehensive sustainability strategy to date. The strategy, called Sustainability 2015, is based around the framework of People, Planet and Products.

Aligned with this global strategy Kimberly-Clark Australia and New Zealand is also pleased to launch its own set of local Sustainability 2015 targets.
